Docker's GenAI stack offers essential components required for developing GenAI applications—a vector database, a LLM, and a multi-step application framework. As a result, the stack:

• Simplifies the challenging task of configuring containers to work synergistically.

• Provides developers with frequent use cases such as building a support agent bot with retrieval augmented generation capability, creating a Python coding assistant, and automated content generation.

• Offers support by seamlessly integrating into development workflows and proposing potential solutions within the development environment.

• Can test fixes before committing changes.

The entire stack is free and designed to run locally on a developer's system. Moreover, Docker and its partners offer deployment and commercial support as developers build applications.

Docker is also introducing Docker AI, dubbed a 'mech suit' for developers and trained on proprietary Docker data. Forget the accustomed copilot; Docker believes in equipping developers with the power to accomplish tasks efficiently.

UK startup enhances GAIA-1 model for autonomous car training: Wayve's GAIA-1 model generates synthetic video to train self-driving cars, using text, photo, video, and action data to create different traffic situations. Improved since its unveiling in June 2023, the model now boasts 9B parameters. It uses 4,700 hours of UK driving data for development and exhibits potential for further enhancement with added data.

Adobe to introduce AI editing tool: Adobe's forthcoming AI-powered tool, Project Stardust, promises to alter images with ease, using object identification in photos for user-friendly editing.
