⚡️ Need Help Deciding?
PLUS: Midjourney might need to get their sh*t together
Good morning. Ideogram has hit where it hurts the most; it seems to have solved a problem plaguing popular image generators—reliable text generation. But is it going to put Midjourney out of business?
Probably not. Both models have their pros and cons and it’s difficult to decide which one’s better—maybe ChatGPT can help? Let’s find out.
DEEP DIVE
ChatGPT—Your New Decision-Making Partner
If you are a manager or business owner, you know how important it is to make good decisions. You could hire a consultant to help or you could use ChatGPT to help yourself.
ChatGPT is not a magic bullet that will make your decisions for you, but it will help you go through the process more systematically.
There are three phases to making well-informed decisions: defining your goals/problem, developing choices, and evaluating choices.
ChatGPT can help you with each of these by engaging in a dialogue with you. You can ask questions, request information, or get feedback. In addition, it can also help uncover your own biases and challenge preconceived notions.
For example, if you are considering expanding your business to a new market, you can ask ChatGPT questions like:
What are the benefits and challenges of entering this market?
What are some successful and unsuccessful examples of similar expansions?
What are some alternative ways to grow without entering this market?
But one area where it shines is suggesting options that you might not have considered. For example, if you are struggling to attract new talent, you can ask ChatGPT to suggest some strategies that others have used to cope with the talent shortage.
While we don’t know the accuracy of its decisions, there’s one thing we do know—at least there will be someone to blame for poor decisions.
